The annual high school ski day is planned for February 14, 2017 at Mt. Washington.
Students who have pre-registered will board the tour busses at 4:45 AM and the busses are scheduled to leave the school parking lot by 5 AM. All students must ride the bus to and from the ski hill. Be on time for the morning departure…the bus will not wait for latecomers.
Parents can expect that the busses will return to the school parking lot by 7:30 PM.
The busses will make a quick stop for breakfast in the area by A&W in Parksville. There will be no stops on the way home.
Students must remember to dress warmly and ensure that they have goggles and gloves as these are not part of the rental package. Helmets and wrist guards are strongly recommended for snowboarders. They are provided free with the purchase of a lift ticket/lesson or a “package”.
It is suggested that students bring a bag lunch and use a locker at the resort. Students may wish to bring their own electronic music players, but the bus will also feature video's for the students.

Ski Package 120.00
Snowboard package 120.00
Lift Ticket and lesson 50.00
Bus transportation only 41.00

All students are required to preregister with Mr. Kamsteeg between Monday, January 16th. and Friday, January 20th. Full payment and completed medical forms are also due by that date (please make cheques payable to PCS Student’s Council). Students may use their SOFund account for this trip by using a SOFund cheque noting the ski trip as the activity. Mr. Kamsteeg will be available in the high school lobby for registration and to take in completed forms before school each day until the bus is full or until January 20th., whichever comes first.
As Mt. Washington requires this group information well in advance, late forms will not be accepted. PCS Students’ Council has indicated that they will not run a bus unless it is full. It is imperative that students get their registration forms in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Students may cancel their trip before January 20th. without penalty. Cancellations after this date may forfeit the cost of bus transportation.
