Bible Curriculum

In the fall of 2022, Pacific Christian School undertook a process to seek feedback from parents, educators, pastors, and other community members about our learning at PCS, including our Biblical Studies program.
The process started with a community survey. This was followed up by small group Deep Listening circles, where individuals were able to respond to the data and provide additional input. This process resulted in the three Core biblical Competencies, representing the central areas we desire our students to grow in through Biblical Studies at PCS.
The Guiding Education Principles (GEPs) serve as the foundation of Christ-centred learning at Pacific Christian School.
Biblical Studies K-7 is fundamental in fulfilling these principles as we educate students in Biblical stories and truths, support student understanding of what it means to be created in the image of God, teach students what it means to connect their faith to their daily lives, and provide opportunities for students to apply their faith through joyful service.
We trust that God will work in and through our educators to transform students through their learning.
