God redeems us through His Son, Jesus Christ: He forgives our sins and makes us new

Grade 3 Biblical Competencies
Develop understanding of key Biblical texts through age-appropriate reading, listening, and questions
Memorize key passages of scripture and apply them to our daily lives
Pray for others: family, friends, and those we do not know
Locate & read verses in the Bible
Grow in understanding of the Biblical timeline and identify stories on a timeline
Identify our gifts and how these can be applied to serve and glorify God
Share stories and testimonies of God’s work
Ask questions about God’s word and the Christian faith; turning to God’s word for living day-by-day
Develop compassion and empathy for those who disagree with us or have different perspectives from us
Seek justice – using restorative approaches to develop relationships, resolve conflict, and serve as ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5)
