Thank you for considering PCS for your pre-school or junior kindergarten child. If you have any questions along the way, please contact our Elementary school office: (250) 479-4532.
Please review the Pre-School and Junior Kindergarten Policies and Procedures document for more information as you begin the registration process.
Come and see! Although not a mandatory part of the process, many families find touring the campuses extremely helpful. Get a feel for the pre-school by meeting the staff and current students. Tours are available on a flexible basis through the Admissions Office.
To book a tour please contact us using the form below or email admissions@PacificChristian.ca
We’ve designed the online application forms to be as easy as possible; however, don’t hesitate to ask for assistance if needed.
If you are new to PCS, please complete all four forms. If you currently have another child enrolled at PCS, you only need to complete the General Application Form.
If you don’t already have child(ren) attending PCS, please complete the following three forms:
- Legal Documentation – copy of Birth Certificate, immunization records, custody orders, other assessment reports…
- There is a $200 non-refundable application processing fee per family (if no siblings are currently attending PCS).
Parents/Guardians are required to attend a “New Parent Information Session.” These sessions are designed to build community among the new to PCS families while reviewing some of the history, philosophy and programs to give a deeper understanding of Christian Education at PCS.
Once your application is complete, the school principal and pre-school director/teacher will meet with your family. This process is used to assess the fit between the family and school, as well as identify and discuss any potential barriers or issues related to acceptance.
It’s also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about the school.
A decision regarding acceptance is generally communicated within several days of the interview with children being admitted or placed in a wait-pool. Each pre-school child will be on a one month probation to assess the ability to meet their needs.
If you have any questions regarding either the status of your application, the process, or your potential fit to the PCS community, don’t hesitate to contact our admissions team – email@example.com
