High School Scholarships
At Pacific Christian School, we believe that education is about more than academic success—it is about formation, belonging, and being equipped to serve faithfully in God’s world.
From time to time, we meet students whose gifts, character, and desire to learn align deeply with our mission, but for whom full tuition presents a real barrier. Our Renewable High School Scholarship exists to help remove that barrier for a limited number of new students, while inviting them into a community committed to growth over time.
What is the Renewable High School Scholarship?
This scholarship is a mission-aligned, renewable tuition award for new students entering PCS High School. It is designed to support students who demonstrate strong engagement in learning, positive character, and a desire to participate fully in a Christian school community.
Unlike one-time awards, this scholarship may be renewed annually, providing families with greater stability and allowing students to grow deeply into the life of the school.
Who is this scholarship for?
The scholarship is intended for new high school students (typically entering Grades 8 or 9) who demonstrate:
- Strong academic engagement and learning habits
- Character, leadership, or service consistent with PCS values
- A genuine interest in Christian education and community life
- A financial context in which tuition support would make a meaningful difference
Because this program is limited in number, scholarships are offered selectively and reviewed carefully.
Why a renewable scholarship?
We believe that formation, belonging, and leadership develop over time. A renewable scholarship allows students to:
- commit more confidently to PCS for multiple years
- grow into leadership and service within the school community
- experience consistency during an important stage of development
Renewal is reviewed annually and is contingent on continued engagement, positive contribution to school life, and alignment with PCS expectations.
How many scholarships are available?
This program begins modestly. The number of scholarships offered each year depends on enrolment capacity and school review. PCS is committed to ensuring that this initiative remains sustainable and well aligned with the needs of the entire school community.
